The Rabbit (“kaninchen”) sized dachshund is n recognised by the ANKC, the smallest variety of dachshund in the FCI show rings. Our lines are imported from Hungry and Norway , Sweden & Russia I cannot thank enough the beautiful specialist kaninchen (rabbit ) breeders abroad who have supported and mentored me in this new breed to Australia. We hope to breed the lines to produce healthy, the correct offspring to the standard. We have imported our first Kaninchen (rabbit) little boy Lukas an international Danish & Norwegian champion from Norway. Our little girl Susanna is from Hungry & we achieved her Australian title in 2022. We had the honor of showing our 3rd Kanitchen little girl Avrora in Norway in 2022 in which she she took out best of breed, BCC & and fifth place and show out of 130 competitors in Norway. Avrora arrived in Australia early 2023 she has been imported from Russia & Norway. Avrora now has her Australian Title . We are looking forward to show casing these special little dachshunds and are hoping the fraternity will follow. We will be starting a breeding plan in 2024 and all interested & inquiries are welcome.

Puppies
Westlass puppies are raised on premium food in a loving family home with children and are socialised with other small dogs. They are handled and have play time on real lawn and are used to our family environment. The puppies are vet checked, wormed, C4 vaccinated (max available), microchipped and limited registered.

Westie information and support is available to all new puppy families. Puppy updates and photo releases are available at 3, 5 and 7 weeks of age.

Main registered puppies may be available for showing from time to time, POA. International inquires are welcome, POA.

Pups are using the dog door by the time they are 5 weeks old, this greatly helps new owners with toilet training. They spend lots of time with my family and other dogs. They are raised on optimum puppy kibble, but they mostly eat a raw diet of fresh meat. Pups are wormed every two weeks and are vaccinated, microchipped and flea treated before they leave to their new homes. Happy for pups to travel interstate or overseas at buyers expense, but can help with arrangements. Pups go with a puppy pack that includes Toys, Treats, Food, something with mum and litter mates sent on, plus lots of information. A sale and health guarantee meeting Victorian State Government requirements is given.

I will provide new owners with all the relevant information into looking after them. They will be sold on limited pedigree papers.
