Weisngrey was Est. in 2018 after falling in love with a Senior therapy Weimaraner. Her owner then acquired a Baby Puppy that I campaigned to her Conformation Title.

This led to the acquisition of my own foundation dogs from well established ANKC breeders and I further participated in conformation and
basic training in obedience, agility, lure coursing and tracking.

As the breeder of pruebred dogs, I place Health and Temperament at the forefront of each of my planned litters and whilst it is not compulsory, I commenced DNA testing my dogs in 2019.to ensure that any future Weisngrey offspring is not effected by:

Hyperuricosuria (HUU)
Spinal Dysraphism (SD)
Brain Hypomyelination (HYPM).

Whilst DNA does not identify all health issues, it is step forward in producing a more healthier generation for the future.

My mature breeding dogs are hip and Elbow scored and temperament testing of my pups helps to match a lifelong friend with new owners based on your personal circumstances and what I feel is a good fit.

Weisngrey puppies are generally sold on the limited register unless you have existing ANKC membership. For more details on membership, visit the ANKC website.

We have owned and loved weimaraners for over 40 years. We have bred over 50 conformation champions including over 18 royal winners, several grand champions, many tracking champion and exported six now top winning dogs in both field trials, tracking and shows including world winners Ned Kamp Grausturm Extra Special, Swed and Aust Ch Grausturm Dare to Dream and Multi Ch Grausturm Love is a Drug, Ch Grausturm Hairy Potter, Ch Grausturm Prince OGrey and two cruft class winners.

Seriousgrey is a small intimate family orientated kennel established in May 2012, located in Midway Point in Southern Tasmania.

Seriousgrey has evolved from the joy and companionship that our dogs have enhanced our lives with and that of our families.
Our dogs are valued family members and as such are treated with the respect, care and commitment that they require and deserve.

We have a great respect for the breeds versatility, loyalty & intelligence.

Our foundation dogs are from well established & experienced local & interstate breeders and our lines include the Weimaraner & Weimaraner Long Hair.

Our involvement within the show community is relatively new which began in 2010 & our dogs have represented the breed consistently and successfully having participated at local, interstate & national specialty shows.

We have a passion for obedience & have been involved with our local obedience club over many years, except for when life gets in the way!

Our intention is not to become a prolific breeder we simply wish to develop & extend our knowledge & become more experienced ambassadors who promote this Beautiful Breed, hopefully increase our network of like minded people & maybe even make a few friends along the way!

Sam was living on a 100acre property until his owner had a stroke and now cannot walk or even feed himself. He was a much loved dog and his owners were upset at having to rehome him.
He went to a foster home until we could find him a forever home. He took a day or so to fit in, as would be expected, but quickly settled in. Sam is a strong fit 7 year old desexed male who walks nicely on a lead and is obedience trained with the basic commands. He is house trained and very affectionate. He would love the company of family who is working from home or about most of the time and would also love another dog, female only being a male Weimaraner, although I think human company would be his preference if he had to choose.
Sam did fly down to Sydney with the expectation of a forever home, but unfortunately the new owner’s husband had to go into hospital and he was too strong for his elderly wife. So we really are looking for an owner who understands the Weimaraner and is willing to spend some time helping this boy settle into a forever home. A little effort would be rewarded by a loyal, friendly and gentle addition to the family.
