I have been involved with Irish Terriers for nearly 20 years and think they are the most wonderful breed ever! They are an energetic, fun loving dog that love people's company, especially children. They love to exercise and play but also can be quite content just laying in the sun. They are a healthy breed with a weatherproof coat and can live indoors or out. They have a gentle nature but are true Terriers when the situation warrants it. My pups are house raised and come from parents with wonderful natures. I have been quite successful with showing my dogs, winning Melbourne Royal with 3 of them. My dog, D'arcy is Australia's First Supreme Champion of the breed and his nature makes him a wonderful ambassador for the breed. I am always happy to talk to anyone about these dogs.

Grá Mo Chroi in Gaelic means 'in my heart' or 'love of my heart'. As soon as you welcome an Irish Terrier into your life, you are bound to fall in love. My husband and I did, with our first Irish, Rufus, (from Roismar Kennels) back over a decade ago. When he left our lives, we were inspired to get more involved with the breed. Over the past few years I have been extremely fortunate to be mentored by Pam Gerrey from Tawnyoak, have got involved in dog shows (which was more fun than I thought). How to best describe what it’s like living with an Irish Terrier? They are loving but irrepressibly cheeky. They are energetic, but also enjoy a cuddle. They are mischievous and make you laugh every day. Anyone I have ever met who has owned an Irish always smile in delight at their memories of their dogs. They are the best dogs. I bred my first litter of Pembroke corgis in 1972. Our pups have always been raised in our home with 24 hour care. We are raising baby pups here at the moment and enquiries are always welcome. Our family picnic days have been fun and allowed people to meet our dogs and pups. We hope to hold two more picnics before the end of this year, no dates have been set yet. If you would like to attend please send me a note. We have been testing our corgis for problems associated with hips, elbows, eyes and hearts since 2003 and are confident of being able to offer pups with very low risk of these disorders. Our entire breeding program is clear of SCID, EIC, and vWD. Vaccination, worming, microchipping and six weeks free pet insurance is standard. Since 2010 my friends and I have been very successful showing dogs owned and/or bred by Nireno at major international competitions. Our genetics are consistently competitive against the very best in the world, including at Crufts this year. We have 2 pups available from our current litter born 23 September 2024. There is currently 1 male and 1 female red and white pups available ( both with tails). These pups are now 8 weeks old and are ready to go to their new homes. The puppies have been well handled since birth ( mum Dusty outdid herself and produced 9 gorgeous pups) as we were supplementing feed from Day 1. The puppies have been vaccinated and microchipped. They have been wormed fortnightly. The pups have been reared on a premium kibble in conjunction with BARF puppy mixture. Pups will go to their new homes with sufficient food to make the transition easier. Our pups are reared in the home and are socialised with some of our other dogs. They have had time to run and play in our grassed front yard ( under supervision). These pups will be registered with Dogs NSW on Limited registration meaning that they are not to be bred from or shown but can still participate in other dog sports such as agility, scentwork, obedience etc. The pups will go on a desex contract that requires them to be desexed once they reach adequate maturity ( between 8 and 12 months). My pups go to their new homes with a puppy pack to make the transition easier. I am always available to provide support for my puppy buyers.
