Our beautiful pedigree Rottweilers mean the world to us, their health and well being is most important and the same goes when we select only the best homes for our puppies to go to as they are a big part of us. I have always admired this beautiful strong breed, their loyalty and devotion to their family members is truly amazing and not to mention they are super intelligent and highly trainable. We first started with Rottweilers from the very established Sahne Kennels . We have also imported some of our bitches and semen from Australia from Australia's top winning kennels. Some of our Champion Rottweilers have won Best in Show, Reserve Best in shows and many group wins. All our puppies parents are fully health tested, hip and elbow certified, eye and dental certified and clear of JLPP and DNA profiled. Sometimes show prospects will be avalible to purchase to approved homes. We offer full guidance to bringing up your puppy for our selected purchasers. Puppies are ready at 8 to 9 weeks old for their new homes, they are health checked before leaving our property by our vets. Kalten Rottweilers are a small kennel situated in Napier with a love of Rottweilers. I have been in the bred for 25 years plus, breeding, importing semen as well as dogs/bitches to improve my bloodlines. Welcome to Taumata Rottweilers. Our kennel is located in the city of Invercargill which is in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand and is owned by Bill Patterson and Wiki Te Tau. Bill is the only person to date that has obtained the title of NZ Obedience Champion with two Rottweilers. His dogs have also obtained many working titles of schutzhund and IPO. Including SchH3. In 2015 Bill competed with his dog Brando in the Rottweilers world championship show in Nis Serbia. Our goal is to breed beautiful and stable Rottweilers with good nerves and excellent working drives. These Rottweilers are as comfortable on the training ground or as well as home companions. As you will see from our pedigrees we have sourced our dogs from some of the best dogs available and have imported dogs and semen from Europe. We have imported many dogs over the years and that has helped us win on the sports field as well as in the conformation ring .We have our progeny from Europe to Asia and Australia. We go to great lengths to provide our clients with the best puppy that is suitable for their home environment We ensure that we match the needs of the new owner with the right puppy, so whether you require a home companion, show or sport dog there will be a puppy that suits your requirements We have a modern kennel facility and our dogs live on a ten acre farm which includes facilities for advanced training.
