Our dogs enjoy life on our 20acre property at Lower Inman Valley (near Victor Harbor). My dogs are family companions first and foremost therefore a sound temperament is a must.

At Macumazahn we have 2 litters per year, with puppies available to the discerning Ridgeback lover. All breeding stock is hip and elbow xrayed, full Breed DNA, heart certified, along with other screen checks. I breed selectively and lovingly raise my babies in a home environment using the "Puppy Culture" method, with all the care and attention that is necessary for happy, healthy & well socialised puppies. I provide ongoing support for my puppy owners.

We started out as a family with enormous passion to learn and develop our lines to be the best we possibly could. We breed only the highest quality Rhodesian Ridgeback pups for not only temperament but breed characteristics. With small children ourselves we select only the best natured breeding pairs thats will produce pups that are not highly strung but great all round family dogs that we would have no issues recommending them to our freinds and family. We understand how exciting but also challenging it can be not only bringing home the perfect new life companion but choosing the breeder who you connect with and trust. We purchased our first Rhodesian Ridgeback 'Jera' in 1992 and quickly fell in love with her and this very loyal breed in general. Jera was our foundation bitch and had her first litter in 1995. That was the start of a long journey under the 'Sahwira' prefix. We have always bred for good temperament and conformation. We have bred, loved and owned many champions. Our dogs have always been well socialised and obedience trained and have been a big part of family life and loved by all. Many of our Ridgebacks have found their forever homes with families with children who love them dearly.
All of our breeding stock are xrayed and DNA tested.

RockRidges, established in 2006, is a boutique Kennel situated on acerage in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Zambuana Lodge is very proud to announce an outstanding new litter of Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies born on the 18th of August 2024. Charna and her 7 girls are doing great with 1 liver-nose girl currently available.
All of our puppies and adult dogs are well socialised and have great personalities and temperaments. Bred for their temperaments and soundness, our puppies are great with children and will make a great new addition to anyone’s family.
