Mastdoch was founded by Peter & Karen Docherty who first imported a Mastiff from Bredwardine Kennels in 1992 from the UK. Over the years we have produced multiple Best In Show and Best in Group winners (all breeds Champ level).

We breed and exhibit all 3 colours. All of our breeding dogs are health tested for cystinuria, PRA, CMR1, DM and are hip and elbow scored.

We live on a 145 acre property just outside Bathurst NSW, we have owned and loved pure bred Mastiff's since 1998. We currently have 6 Mastiff's in our family. Our Mastiffs have been hip & elbow scored and DNA tested with My Dog DNA. Just like the majority of Mastiff owners we fell in love with this large breeds gentle, loyal and calming friendly nature, making them the perfect companion & guardian for our family, and would like to do our little bit to help protect and preserve The Mastiff. We are excited to announce the safe arrival of beautiful longhair babies from 'Heidi' Champion Waldwiese Worlds Apart and 'Neeko' Dual Champion (T) Waldwiese Xplain Yourself (AI). These babies will be ready to leave for their new homes after November 30th. Prior to breeding all of our dogs undergo full health testing for Hyperuricosuria, Hypomyelination, Spinal Dysraphism and Degenerative Myelopathy along with Hip and Elbow x-rays. Puppies come with Dogs SA pedigree, vaccination certificate, microchipping, wormed and 12 months membership to the Weimaraner Club of SA.
