LaSimba Kennels has been involved in showing and breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks for 25 years and has gotten involved in Lagotti for the last three as the breed aligns so well with the AAT (animal assisted therapy, education and activities) space…a key focus for us with involvement with school dog programs.

Our puppies come from ANKC registered parents with impressive pedigrees, ensuring the continuation of the breed's exceptional characteristics and health standards. We are involved in conformation showing and have recently campaigned two to their Australian Championships.

With a focus on responsible breeding practices and quality care, we prioritize the well-being and happiness of each puppy, setting them up for a fulfilling and joyful life in their new homes. We use ENS and Puppy Culture methods in rearing puppies in the family home. Parents have been hip and elbow scored and have had full DNA breed profiles and health testing done. Puppies will be microchipped and vaccinated.

I am a Family Dog Home breeder with this being my first litter. My dogs have excellent Lagotto characteristics and my girl is DNA tested and Vet checked. I have been a member of Dogs NSW and the Lagotto Club of NSW for 10 years plus. My dogs have been raised as pets but have participated in small agility and sell activities with the club. Their parents have all come from a prominant breeding kennel with great record. Although my Lagottos were never shown they are loving and faithful friends and Im sure the puppies will make wonderful pets or even show dogs if you enjoy that too.

Living on almost 50 acres in the Macedon Ranges (less than an hour drive from Melbourne) our dogs love exploring the gardens and swimming in the lake! They are very well cared for and loved on many levels, and my partner Ross is a veterinarian. Before 8 weeks, puppies will have had a Vet health check, vaccinations, micro-chipped, wormed and Dogs Vic. Registered. Both parents have good Hip & Elbow scores and are clear for known diseases that affect our breed.

Dear Enquirer,

LagottoMoon has puppies available in August.

LagottoMoon had 9 puppies on 14th June 2024. The puppies are being raised in my home in the Adelaide Hills. I have just shy of two acres with 3 children, 4 Lagottos, 1 cat, chooks and bees. I am a huge advocate for this amazing breed.

They have been vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated etc.

Stud Bassi, and Dame Flossie are DNA tested diseases/disorders including all known to the Lagotto Romagnolo (LSD,HUU,JE), excellent Hip and Elbow scores and the dame (Flossie) is eye tested.

Above all, both dogs have lovely temperaments. I was very excited to have the opportunity to use Bassi as a stud a second time, and 3year old Flossie is being an absolute star Mum. She is going amazing feeding and caring for 9 with her first litter.

I am happy to chat and answer any questions about the litter, or just happy to chat about the breed in general.

Both of these dogs have had great success while in the show ring, have impeccable temperaments and are lovely family dogs
