We are a small kennel consisting of 8 dogs at the moment. We only breed when we need a new pup to show which is about every 3 years.
We have had 4 Grand Champions including three generations of bitches. Our breeding is based on the Driftway lines as well as using one of the top stud dogs in the USA. Our two new editions are Ch Laskelsa Wild Destiny (Jai) and Ch Laskelsa Littl Diva (Georgia).
Georgia was Best of Breed at the Royal Melbourne Show, following in her mothers footsteps who won the same award 4 years earlier.

We are a family of dog lovers who have the good fortune to own and breed beautiful Labradors right here in Yarraville, Victoria.
Our kennel name, Mangiato, is Italian and means â€˜Iâ€™m eatingâ€™, in a continuous sense. We believe that if Labradors were allowed to write their own mission statement (and were suave enough to speak Italian) mangiato would about sum it up! Each of our litters is named after a type of food. For example our girl Lucy's litter was named after toast spreads! Her name is Mangiato Nutella, meaning I'm eating Nutella.

We are a small kennel breeding for temperament and working ability.

Both Kate and I are actively involved in the dog world as retrieving trial competitors and judges of retrieving trials to Championship level and retrieving ability tests.

We have been actively breeding Labrador Retrievers for over 20 years. Many of our dogs and bitches have fifteen or more generations of selection for game drive, prey drive and biddability.

Our dogs and bitches are used widely in retrieving, obedience and tracking trials. We are also working with an organisation in breeding and training dogs for service and therapy for people with a wide range of disabilities. These dogs are trained for autism therapy, epilepsy alert, aspergers syndrome therapy, post traumatic stress disorder therapy, age home service, legal court service, alziemers disease service and diabetes alert dogs..

All of our breeding dogs and bitches are tested for hip dysplasia and OCD and we aim to breed pups with hip and elbow scores better than the breed average. All of our breeding dogs and bitches are genetically profiled for the full range of diseases and traits for which genetic markers are available for the Labrador Retriever breed.

Amber has successfully mated with Scooter(Jesscott Park), and we’re excited to announce that her puppies are expected to arrive in early November! Both parents show international champion bloodlines.

This mating mirrors Amber's previous one, producing again beautiful puppies with delightful, calm temperaments that make them ideal family pets. Their intelligence and gentle disposition of these future puppies will make them wonderful candidates for service and therapy dog training.

All puppies will be wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked. Parents have been DNA tested and hip & elbow tested with very good scores. We live on a farm on the Bellarine near Geelong, mum is happy, healthy and exercised. All our puppies are exposed to textures, noises, adults, children and other animals, resulting in resilient pups. - Winter comes from a lineage of champions and has a friendly temperament and affectionate nature which makes her a favourite among our visitors, showcasing the wonderful temperament that Labradors are known for. She is very well trained and gets a lot of compliments for her behaviour and obedience when we are out with her. Full clear DNA, does not carry chocolate and has excellent hip/elbow scores.
- Blue comes from the lineage of Driftway Labradors and is a type well-balanced classic black, with a fabulous attitude yet with the softest of natures, always willing to please. He has excellent quality of coat, lovely head, lovely otter tail and we expect very lovely and good temperamental puppies.
