Kalaska Samoyeds is a family run kennel with myself and my daughter Kristine and have been involved in the Samoyed breed now for over 40 years and bred more than 100 Champions, 7 Grand Champions and 2 Supreme Champions. KALASKA AUSSIE IDOL (Litter Brother) is also a winner of multiple BEST IN SHOW SPECIALITIES AND ALL BREED SHOWS and has become a Multi International Champion. CH. KALASKA LOVER BOY winner of BISS AT THE WORLD SAMOYED MEETING held here in Melbourne in 2014 and RUBISS at the NSW SAMOYED SPECIALITY in 2017. CH. KALASKA THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY who at only 8 months old won BEST OF BREED and PUPPY IN SHOW at the Royal Queensland show and then followed up winning RUISS at the SAMOYED NATIONAL in NSW in 2016. We have very supported teams in most states of Australia, who with us endeavour to show our beautiful dogs and that we are proud of. KALASKA has been the MOST SUCCESSFUL BREEDER of the Best In Show Speciality winner consecutively for 6 years, as well as TOP BREEDER (dol) for 8 years and currently on top for 2017 (4th Sept) We at Kalaska only breed with healthy hip scored and eye tested stock and all our puppies are raised in our family homes, have the correct health tests prior to leaving to ensure you are receiving a healthy and loved puppy.

Polarmoon is a Samoyed Breeder located in the Wairarapa. A Dogs NZ Breeder adhering to the rules, we do not, and will not show our dogs. Inbreeding is widespread in pure bred dogs, and this carries substantial risks to dog health and longevity. With an academic background in cell biology and genetics, Polarmoon focuses on low coefficients of inbreeding and good ancestor loss coefficients. Our dogs are health tested with good results. We emphasize environmental enrichment, and socialization with people and other animals from a young age. Our dogs are first and foremost, members of our family. They live, sleep and work with us in our home. We do not rehome older breeding dogs and all of our dogs have a home and loving family for life. Our puppies are for sale to approved pet homes (an information sheet will be provided, and an interview required), and come with a comprehensive contract including a 'take back' guarantee in the event the new owner becomes unable to care for the dog. Our puppies come with considerable information on both the breed and dogs in general including care and handling. We are available to provide any assistance required throughout the life of the dog. We deliver our puppies to anywhere in New Zealand, no extra charge required, to minimize travel stress on the puppy.
