Wattavue Dobermanns are situated on acreage between Boonah and Ipswich, Queensland. Les and I have been involved in Dog Activities for over four decades with a variety of breeds, such as Dobermanns, Malamutes, Weimaraners and Miniature Poodles. Wattavue Dobermanns was established in 1999 and we are proud breeders of In Show and In Group class winners.
Our Dobermanns have been activily involved in Obedience, Agility and Conformation Showing.
We raise our puppies as members of our family with the view of them becoming a valued member of your family.

Martyn Dobermann Stud has been established since 1970, and we are the oldest established breeders exhibiting still in New Zealand.

To date we have bred 93 plus Champions and 12 NZ Grand Champions 1 Aust Gr Ch and three NZ Supreme Champions, and owned an Australian import who became a NZ Grand Champion. We are the first breeders to have a Grand Champion Dobermann registered with the New Zealand Kennel Club and we also have an American Champion to our name, being the only Dobermann kennel to achieve this in the history of the breed along with many Australian Champions.

We, together with our children, have imported four American Dobermanns from the USA, and have currently in the frozen semen bank from the USA, the choice of fifteen top American male Dobermann's for our on going breeding program.

We have achieved numerous awards at both All Breed Champion Shows and Dobermann Specialists Shows. One of our major achievements would be having bred the winner of the Australian Dobermann Nationals, where Australian Champion Martyn Double Trouble (Imp NZ) who won Best In Show over 316 Australian Dobermann's. To date Martyn Dobermanns have won in excess of 150 All Breeds Best In Shows at all levels of competition.
As a family we exhibit most weekends of the year. This allows us to keep in check our continued dedication of quality, always trying to epitomize the breeds standard and adhere to it vigorously and health test our dog

We are a small family breeder of dobermanns from champion bloodlines on the south coast of NSW. All puppies are raised in our home on our farm using PUPPY CULTURE PRINCIPALS.

All our dogs are part of our family and are not kept in kennels. We’re thrilled to announce we have a confirmed litter whelped on the 8th of October. This will be our last litter until at least 2026. At Whimsily, our aims are to breed for health, temperament and to preserve the beautiful English Setter breed. Our dogs are thoroughly health tested, including hip scores, DNA testing and BAER testing. Our puppies are raised with Puppy Culture to help them reach their full potential as balanced, resilient future dogs. They’ve been exposed to baths, blow drying, clippers and regular nail trims to set them up for grooming in the future. Whimsily puppies come home with: - Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) Pedigree - Microchipped - Wormed - Their first two vaccinations - BAER (hearing) tested - Lifetime support from us! - A puppy pack with food, grooming tools and an information booklet. Puppies come registered with Dogs Victoria on the limited registry, which means they cannot be bred from or shown. Owners are required to sign a contract that any puppy on the limited registry will not be bred from. When show-quality puppies are available, expressions of interest will be taken from genuine show people interested in exhibiting.
