The bright and merry COCKER SPANIEL is well loved at SANTHOME. We are passionate about quality pure purposefully bred COCKER SPANIELS, intentionally bred for predictability, type, health with welfare in mind.
We commenced showing and exhibiting in 1979 with English Setters / German Shorthaired Pointers and German Shepherd Dogs (different prefix since 1983). Our Cocker Spaniels were introduced to the Show and Dog Sports Team in 2016.
We recognise sound temperament as the primary functional characteristic to shape behaviour. Along with strictly adhering to the Parent Club breed standards (& ANKC), we carefully choose and nurture the essential traits of intelligence, gentleness, affection, strength and trainable to ensure reliable companions to enhanced leisure, work and family life.

A small kennel started in the late 1990's, we have house raised pups occasionally available.
We strive to breed for type, soundness, temperament and quality using a blend of some Top Winning Australian, UK and American lines and fully support the DNA testing for PRA-CD, FN, BSS, AMS and AON. We are passionate about breeding quality healthy Pedigree puppies for selected families throughout Australia. Life is never the same once you have one of these treasures in your life! Although our cockers are show quality they go to families not wanting to show/breed.
We follow the guidelines of health testing the parents to ensure puppies we breed are clear of all genetic health conditions. This gives families peace of mind their puppy will be too.
Our puppies are Pedigree which means you can trace the lineage of parents giving you certainty you have an authentic purebred English Cocker Spaniel.
We hand select Pedigree lines known for their well balanced temperaments to ensure our babies will have lovely jolly natures.
We raise our babies in a clean loving family environment where they are well socialised with our kids in our lounge room. We do not have kennels.
Our cockers potter around the house blessing us with their beautiful jolly smiles & wagging tails. Cockers simply brighten life!

We are a small home based breeder on the Sunshine Coast, where our dogs have plenty of space to roam and enjoy life on our acreage property, outside in the sunshine by day, inside by the fire at night. We are looking forward to learning more about showing and building our program with a focus on beautiful temperament and conformation.

Cobalt cockers are very excited to announce we have 6 blue roan babies born on the 19th of June so now 5 weeks old and as cute as buttons .
Sire is the stunning Supreme Champion Cobalt Luck Of the Irish ( Rogan)sire of over 10 champions.
Mother is the very sweet girl Cobalt Summer Raine who produced two lovely winners in her last litter .
These babies are selectively bred , I show my dogs every weekend , my whole life is my dogs and the betterment of the Cocker Spaniel Breed , not just mating anything to anything just for money , buyer beware.
My babies have super pedigrees , and gorgeous sweet temperaments , they are of course wormed ,vaccinated and microchipped . both parents DNA tested for PRA , FN and AON and father is Hip Xrayed.
Each baby comes with a puppy pack and sample of food they are raised on.

We are very excited to have puppies planned to be due late October and all going well will have puppies for new homes around 20 December onwards
This is a busy time of the year, and we are always more than happy to keep puppies until after the festive period, so if you think you might be interested in a puppy to join you from late December to early to mid January - send us an EOI
We haven't had a litter in the last 18 months whilst we have been planning the arrival of our two new boys from Italy and now the boys are here we have plans for three or four litters in the next twelve months
We are anticipating the first litter will have blue roan and liver roan (chocolate roan) and maybe liver roan and tan (chocolate roan and tan) puppies
Parents are hip scored, full Orivet breed profile for wide variety of potential hereditary diseases and AON tested.
We breed from CHAMPIONS the mums of our litter/s are champions so they have proven they are great examples of the breed in the showring, and our Italian import boy is neer his Australian title after just being with us for just on three months.

We are excited to announce we are taking applications on our babies born recently.

Both parents are full breed DNA tested, with specialist checks annually (Heart and Eyes). Our puppies are raised inside and fed premium foods. They are exposed to all the noises and chaos of a busy family home so are well adjusted confident babies. They will be microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked prior to leaving here. Wormed at 2,4,6, and 8 weeks.
We start toilet training so by the time they go home they should have a good idea of what to do. Our babies will leave here with a puppy pack to help get them settled, and lifetime support.
Interstate transport can be arranged and we are happy to help assist in organising that.
