With our induction into the Chow Chow breed back in 1972, we are now one of Australias oldest & largest breeder/exhibitor kennels today.
Along the way on the Teddy bear trail we have worked hard within the breed & feel that we have helped contribute to improve the breed along the way.
We have bred some BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW WINNERS as well as RUNNER UPS. We've also bred BEST IN GROUP & BEST IN SHOW winners over the years, along with CLASS IN GROUP and SHOW AWARDS everywhere, to numerous to mention.

Rynkls Shar Pei and Chow is a small but successful kennel located in the small vilage of Bungendore -just outside of Canberra. We are activley involved in the pursuit of excellence through tough but fair competition. We wont bore you with meaningless detail except to say we CURRENTLY enjoy successes in the show ring as well as proving the versatility of our dogs in other disciplines. We DO NOT hang off the coat tails of out-dated results.
Rynkls Chows are committed to maintaining the excellent type and temperament of the Chow that has been developed through thoughtful breeding throughout many generations. We acknowledge the our mentors at Chowleigh and Partners at Katasia -we could not be this successful without them.
We are also active members of the dog community serving on a number of committee’s and holding membership to a number of related clubs. We contribute to the development and welfare of the Chow (and dogs in general) through public education, rescue work and breed specific training. We have been consulted on many occasions and have had articles published in well know dog media.

We have been breeding chows for over three decades.
Our emphasis is on developing chows with the best temperament to be companion pets. That being said, many of our pups are shown in conformation. Our chow pups are reared in-house and have the best possible start. The dam and sire have been health checked by the Reproductive Veterinary practice that attends to the health of our chows.
At 4 weeks, new chow parents are invited to visit our happy canine family and a pup is allocated.
Pups are vet-checked, vaccinated, microchipped.
From 8 weeks old, pups go to their forever homes.
