Dr Tracey Tonkin BVSc(Hons) is also the Dogs NZ National Breed Health Liaison Officer. We breed for health, soundness, great temperaments & breed type with excellent confirmation. Our dogs are DNA screened for known genetic issues, heart, eye and patella problems, hip scored & bred above and beyond the requirements of the Dogs NZ Accredited Breeders Scheme. Our dogs are also currently part of a La Trobe University long term study tracking the correlation between breeder practices and puppy development. Our dogs are known for their excellent breed type and outstanding temperaments and have been used for professional stage and photography work. We export both dogs and semen from NZ. Through importing a substantial number of quality dogs, we are able to selectively breed from pedigrees of top kennels worldwide. In fact, we have imported the most new lines into New Zealand and currently have 7 imported dogs in our kennel, including 1 from Bramver's in Japan, 5 from Cheekychi in Australia, and 1 from Countrychi in Australia. We are wholeheartedly dedicated to continually improving our lines and the breed as a whole and actively collaborate with likeminded breeders who share our vision.
