My aim is to breed Border Collies with sound structure, excellent health, good temperament in a variation of colors in line with the official breed standards.
Suitable as family pet, adventure buddy, obedience, agility and conformation shows. Some of my lines have a strong eye and in experienced hands would perform well in working trials.

The parents of these pups are both wonderful fun natured dogs, both are well socialised and have been brought up in families around lots of animals and children. They are amazing fun loving pets and successful showdogs, trained and handled by children. Both are DNA tested and clear of all major hereditary diseases (TNS, CEA, DM, CL)

These pups come from showing,obedience and agility lines. Some may show working abilities but they will mostly be suited as your adventure buddy.
They have been planned and raised with the upmost love and care.
Both parents have been officially awarded the title of a show champion by Dogs Nz (New Zealand Kennel Club).

Tess (Southridge on Point) has been AI’d to Aled Owens Int Sup Ch Llangwym Cap (Wales), pups due end of November.

We are taking expressions of interest from primarily working and trial homes. Sport homes will be considered where applicants can show they understand the exercise and mental needs of a working line dog.

Tess is an easy dog, good off switch, easy to train, very natural wee dog who requires little handling. She won’t back down or cave under pressure whether it’s a angry ram or ewe with lamb at foot, will just press forward. Bit of bite when needed. Naturally broad outrun, square flanking. Won’t leave until the job is done. Super easy to live with, sleeps on the bed!

From a sporting perspective she has awesome food and play drive and wicked focus. She doesn’t “boil over” and her focus is natural born of relationship rather than food or play. She just wants to work and please.

Cap was a natural dog who Aled described as one of the best dogs he ever had. He was an outstanding farm dog who was very consistent and a successful trials dog. A natural outrunner with bags of power. Cap has consistently produced good dogs worldwide and seems to compliment most girls he is put to.

Litter whelped - 18 September 2024

We have two lovely blue merle boys available from our litter born on 18 September in Hawke's Bay.

The pups have recently been microchipped, had their first vaccination and vet clearance and are able to leave from mid November. They all leave with a pet pack and lifelong support from us.

We are happy to ship the pups throughout the country via road or air transport.

Both boys will be sold on the Dogs NZ limited register unless otherwise arranged with us.
