Aust Ch Lyndoor Sleepy Sam E.T. HT CCD FM
As a team we have dabbled in agility, herding, flyball, tracking, obedience, rally O, nose work. We have visited nursing homes to keep the elderly company, done more demonstrations than you can poke a stick at and helped train more than a few show judges about how to be confident checking a dogs bite. She has taught a few vets about how hardy the breed is and a large number of vet students that kelpies are awesome and shouldn't be fat! She earned her championship title and has gone back into the ring as a neuter.
She sat with my grandfather before he passed, and helped his carers care for him. And now she regularly visits my grandmother to hog her bed and keep her company. She certainly always kept me on the straight and narrow.
Miss not so sleepy Abby has now been tested for the Responsible Pet Ownership Programme and is going into schools to teach K, 1 and 2's about looking after pets and how to stay safe around dogs.
She has given me outstanding offspring that I have teamed up to conquer even more with.
She is a bed hog, lounge hog and has pushed me out of the bed! She tells me off when I give her the wrong cue and always runs off to do a wee during our second agility run. She also doesn't retrieve brown tennis balls at flyball.
I dont care about her pedigree or how she goes in the show ring. If we manage a pass or who she manages to get muddy paw prints on at a show. I loves her soooooo so so much and she is perfect and I just wanted to share with everyone how amazing Abby is.
